Traveling Superintendent

We're seeking talented and experienced traveling superintendents to join our team!

We're a rapidly expanding general contractor specializing in commercial construction services across the Southeast United States. We focus on serving clients in the commercial market, particularly in restaurant dining and quick service food projects.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate day-to-day activities of carpenters and contractors to ensure high-quality work meets the project schedule.
• Ensure subcontractors obtain all necessary construction permits.
• Verify safety compliance across all trades.
• Lead regular contractor meetings.
• Create, manage, and update the project schedule.
• Communicate schedule status, updates, and changes.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage jobsite logistics.
• Oversee the project quality plan and implement necessary changes.
• Provide training opportunities to subordinates for continuous improvement and cross-training.

Requirements and Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Experience as a construction superintendent.
• Ability to read and understand architectural and civil drawings.
• Willingness to travel.
• Experience supervising a project team.
• OSHA 30-hour certification.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety processes and ability to enforce the project safety plan.
• Ability to create a “safety first” culture where all tradespeople work with an incident and injury-free attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $88,724.48 - $160,850.98 per year
