Position SummaryAs our Director of IT at Elmington, you will assume a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing our core IT infrastructure, guaranteeing uninterrupted functionality across our systems. You will spearhead strategic IT projects aligned with overarching business objectives, managing critical tasks and systems administration. Your duties will encompass researching and integrating cutting-edge technologies, overseeing hardware and software inventory, and delivering comprehensive technical support to our workforce.

Essential Job Functions
  • Provides leadership in the assessment, development, evaluation, implementation and maintenance of IT systems and services (including voice, data, imaging, and office automation). Leads negotiations of IT acquisition contracts.
  • Facilitates timely and effective communication between stakeholders, management, vendors, and other technology resources.
  • Serves as project manager for implementations, upgrades, and other IT projects.
  • Responsible for data safety and integrity including back-up and or redundant storage processes.
  • Develops and implements IT policies and procedures.
  • Ensures that information systems operate according to internal stands, external accrediting agency standards and other legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Effectively provides supervision of other IT personnel ensuring that all work is optimized to provide effective and timely response to internal and external customer needs.
  • Ensures all personnel are appropriately trained in the use of IT and various Elmington systems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Additional duties may include direct support and reporting to other regulatory agencies, as well as other compliance requirements.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing IT department, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and guidance to both direct reports and indirect teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Specific Education Or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science.
  • 10 or more years of experience in IT management.
  • Strong creative and analytical thinking.
  • Experience managing all company IT assets and processes for a company of 1000 employees.
  • Extensive experience within IT project management
  • A willingness to "get down into the weeds" of projects, IT systems, and scaling with the company as we grow!
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Frequently sit, stand and walk
  • Regularly required to talk or hear
  • Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  • Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary
