Ellwood Group, Inc. is Hiring a Lead Process Technician Near Irvine, PA
There is an opening for a Lead Process Technician (salary non-exempt position) based in Irvine, however, from time to time you may be assigned to the Corry/Warren Plants.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: These job functions are not intended to be an all-encompassing list of duties. With Ellwood National Forge lean work force, employees may be required to perform other duties within or outside their departments at any time.
- Manufacturing process development and improvements
- Standardizing work instructions and detailed control plans for finish
- Manufacturing Evaluation and Optimization (Manufacturing Flow, Routings, Coordination with Tooling and Programming)
- Coordination and implementation throughout facility using the DBR system,
- Focus on set-up reduction, tooling and fixturing
- Gage identification, procurement, design and implementation
- Facilitate the manufacturing design process
- Troubleshoot, analyze and develop solutions for simple and complex machining requirements.
- Performs other duties as deemed necessary.
- Abides by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations and work rules;
- Must have ability and desire to work well with others;
- This opportunity may require working altered shifts to support production and there will be times when overtime work will be mandatory.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two-Year Associate Degree in a related Engineering discipline (preferred Mechanical or Industrial engineering degree) or related experience
- Experience in metal cutting operations
- Strong background in machining and knowledge of machine tools
- Tooling experience
- Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Styeline)
- Ability to work independently (self-directed) on projects
- Ability to lead and direct team efforts
- Strong math skills and problem solving ability
- Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
