Ellison Bakery LLC is Hiring a Sanitation Technician (FT) - 2nd Shift Near Fort Wayne, IN
2nd Shift - 330pm - Midnight - $16.00/hr. - up to $20.00/hr. DOE $1.00/hr. Shift Premium - will train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks and move to the second shift where you will receive the shift differential.
- Sanitation Manager
- Follow the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) to make sure that all equipment and areas are cleaned regularly
- Maintain the facility in a manner that meets all food safety requirements
- Clean production equipment following established SSOPs
- Accurately and legibly maintain cleaning records
- Ensure that all utensils, equipment, and areas are maintained cleanly and safely
- Empty all trash containers and dispose of them properly
- Company Policies
- Good manufacturing practices
- Food Safety Management System Policies and Procedures
- Sanitation procedures
- Safety procedures
- Effectively communicate all relevant information to other production shifts and employees
- Fire Extinguisher inspections
- Pest Control inspections
- Snow and ice removal on sidewalks (seasonal)
- Immediately report any food safety and quality problems to management

- Mechanically inclined. - A MUST
- Knowledge of Kleanz Software is preferred
- Forklift experience is helpful
- The boom and scissor lift experience is helpful
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Production areas can vary in temperature either cool or warm depending on the season and possibly humid in the summer months
- Concrete floors are slippery, especially when wet
- Intact senses of sight, with corrective lenses, are necessary
- Hearing and vision are required to be able to hear and read documents about the job
