Ellicottville Bake Shop will be opening early 2024 in Ellicottville, NY! We are seeking a breakfast cook for our soon-to-open bakery in Ellicottville. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Apply now to become a part of our incredible team!

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare breakfast sandwiches to order, following established recipes and customer preferences.
• Cook ingredients such as eggs, sausages, bacon for breakfast sandwiches.
• Stock and maintain station, setup and breakdown station.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling and storage.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Cross train in other areas to fill in when needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A combination of education, practical experience, and/or certifications in culinary arts is a plus.
• Previous experience as a breakfast cook desired.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and sanitation practices.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a busy environment both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be at least 18 years old to operate equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

This is Full or Part-Time position. Days worked are Thursday – Monday. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

Reliable transportation and attendance required.
