Join the security team at 500 Pearl to ensure the well being of our event, hotel and bar guests. The ideal candidate has a strong commitment to protecting the safety of our guests and employees, has the ability to work late nights and weekends. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to quickly assess situations and react appropriately using rational thought processes.
Requirements:
- Maintain a highly visible profile while being guest orientated and approachable
- Intervene and diffuse guest conflicts effectively
- Visibly observe guests and employees in an effort to deter undesirable activity in and around the store
Required Qualifications:
- Proven ability to effectively manage conflict through de-escalation technicques
- Able to problem solve, anticipating, analyzing, and identifying opportunities, responding quickly when situations arise and preventing problems when possible
- Must possess a valid NYS Security Guard License
- Must have successfully completed all state mandated training
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
