Hotel Guest Service Associates: Ellicott Hotels a division of Ellicott Development is looking for qualified front desk agents to add to our hospitality teams at: our Amherst, NY hotel: located right across from UB North Campus. The right candidates will enjoy providing superior customer service to all our guests, have experience with long term stay properties and can communicate professionally both in person and on the phone.

• welcomes guest and pays particular attention to assigned room type, special requests, rate, all while exhibiting an inviting, friendly, and helpful “Glad You’re here” personality, attitude and sets an example for guest service representatives to uphold.
• performs any combination of following duties for guests of hotel: Greets, register, and assigns rooms to guests.
• uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms, advance reservations, and up selling techniques to maximize revenue.
• promptly follows up on guest complaints and requests with the appropriate person or department.
• develops the ability to resolve minor complaints to the satisfaction of the guests.

We are looking for full time candidates with weekend shifts mandatory. We offer a generous benefit package including paid days off, health, dental and life insurance benefits to staff working more than 25 hours on average per week.
