Under the general direction of the Superintendent, the Executive Director is responsible for setting vision, providing leadership, and promoting improvement of support services to ensure that business and operations play a strategic partnership role in accomplishing the mission of the organization. As a member of the Superintendent’s Cabinet, the Executive Director is responsible to oversee essential departmental functions including: finance, information technology, purchasing and warehouse, facilities, school nutrition services, and health and safety. The Executive Director leads and manages business and operations functions for the organization by providing system level leadership, ensuring processes are in alignment with organizational core values, and by collaborating with the Superintendent, Executive Director of Human Resources, and the Assistant Superintendents of Educational Services to ensure effective coordination of all District functions and services.

Qualifications:

B.A./B.S required in Business, Finance, Accounting, Educational Administration, or other relevant field.
M.A./M.S./MBA preferred
Doctorate preferred
Superintendent License preferred
Advanced Certification preferred (e.g. CPA.)
Five years’ experience in school business or educational administration.
Five years’ experience in supervising management or leadership staff.
