POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Associate will contribute to the company sales objectives by increasing sales for Elite Turf Supply in our Business to Business/Retail channel. This Sales Associate is expected to increase volume at our current B2B partners and acquire new customers by prospecting, networking and engaging new opportunities. The Sales Associate must have a strong business acumen with a willingness to think outside the box to identify solutions.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Consults with customers to understand their needs
• Demonstrates and explains products, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customer’s needs
• Answers customer’s questions about our product and installation
• Meet sales goals and objectives as assigned by the Director of Sales
• Develop and execute daily action plan
• Follow up on sales activity to ensure customer satisfaction and client relationship development
• Maintain knowledge about all current products and services. Research local competitor’s products and cost points
• Track and maintain all leads and accounts in CRM staying current on status
• Follow up on leads, contacts, referrals and established accounts with frequency
• Perform outgoing lead generation calls on a regular basis and track through CRM
• Participate in marketing events i.e. trade shows, fairs and in-store events
• Help maintain all in store displays, literature and samples
• Identify and acquire new business through networking, social media and cold calling
• Act as a liaison between sales, marketing and logistics
• Provide creative solutions for business growth and opportunity
• Ability to receive and accept coaching and development

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Proven track record of providing first-rate customer service, focusing on the customer experience
• Maintain a positive, up-beat, attitude

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years in sales

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience with Artificial Turf, Landscape, or flooring sales
• Fluent in both English and Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
