Description

Job Summary: 

A Facilities Team Member facilitates product flow and drives proper operational execution in collaboration with facilities Management, Supervisors, Floor leads, Facilities Team Members and others to ensure safety, accuracy and productivity standards are met both in the main factory building, and the Distribution Center (DC). Team members also maintain a clean, organized environment.

Education/Experience:

•  High School diploma or equivalent preferred
•  Construction, light duty electrical, light duty plumbing, handyman, & painting experience preferred
•  Computer and Mobile Device experience preferred 
•  Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of custodial, grounds maintenance, and routine building maintenance activities. 
• Gather materials needed for jobs.
•  Interact with contractors regarding jobs.
• Back-up person should the Facilities Manager not be present.
• Clean and empty waste bins both from production floor and office areas. 
• Duties may also include cleaning outside, snow shoveling, and salting walkways as needed.
• Drive company van to transport materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

• Must safely lift 50 pounds -- infrequently
• Must safely lift between 15 and 25 pounds -- frequently
• Must safely walk, stand, bend, climb and reach 
• Must have good eye-hand-foot coordination and balance 
• Must have good manual hand/finger dexterity 
• Must have the ability to work successfully in varying temperatures and conditions, depending upon season
• Must be able to work safely on ladders
