Elite Sports Clubs is Hiring a Maintenance Manager Near Mequon, WI

Elite Sports Clubs, the premier health and fitness destination in the Greater Milwaukee area, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations across our four locations. As the Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will lead a team of maintenance technicians and ensure the effective upkeep of our facilities to provide a superior experience for our members.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the facilities maintenance team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high-quality work.
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs, policies, and procedures to optimize facility operations and enhance member experience.
  • Plan and prioritize maintenance projects, including repairs, renovations, and equipment installations, across multiple locations.
  • Coordinate with department directors and external contractors to execute capital projects and renovations efficiently and within budget.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance initiatives to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, and implement corrective actions as necessary to mitigate risks.
  • Prepare maintenance reports, budget forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress and evaluate effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance management, preferably in a multi-site environment.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Proficiency in facilities management software and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
