Elite Construction & Grading, Inc. is seeking multiple Experienced Bulldozer Operators. Successful Applicants must possess verifiable experience and skill in Operation of Bulldozers ranging in size from 35,000-55000 lbs. Successful Applicants should be highly skilled in Rough Grading and Proficient (at a minimum) in their skill ability to Fine-Grade with the Bulldozer. Must be familiar with and understand how to grade to grade stakes and operate with and without GPS assistance. Bulldozer Operators must be physically able to climb on and off of the machine, perform routine maintenance to the machine such as greasing, fueling, fluids, & cleaning off tracks and keeping inside of machine in clean and organized manner. Must be physically able and willing to lift up to 50lbs. Successful Applicants will at times also need to be able to operate other Heavy Equipment such as Wheel Loaders, Backhoes, Excavators, Mini Excavators, Skid Steers, Rollers & Off Road Dump Trucks. But experience and proficiency skills for Bulldozer Operator is the Critical Hiring Factor for these job position(s).

Responsibilities:
- Operate bulldozers and other heavy equipment to perform tasks such as grading, leveling, and excavating
- Follow project plans and directions to complete assigned tasks
- Safely maneuver equipment on construction sites, ensuring the safety of yourself and others
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bulldozer Operator. Must be skilled in rough grading and fine grading.
- Proficient in operating bulldozers and other heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, graders, and dump trucks
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness

Elite Construction & Grading is a North Carolina General Contractor Specializing in Civil Site and Utility Construction and working in the Southeastern North Carolina Area including work in: Onslow, Duplin, Pender, New Hanover and Brunswick Counties. General Working Hours for this Position are Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm with occasional shifts in these hours slightly depending on Work Load, Weather and project schedules. Occasional Saturday work is Necessary, but only when it is needed due to one of the factors listed previously.

This position will be paid on an hourly basis and is Considered a Non-Exempt Employee. Any hours over 40 worked per week will be paid Overtime at the rate of 1.5 times the normal hourly rate paid. The company's work week runs from Sunday though Saturday. Hourly Rate will be determined based on the applicant's verifiable experience and skill level.

Successful applicants must be willing and able to provide information about their Health Status that demonstrates their Suitability to perform the duties of the position, as well as pass a pre-employment Drug Screen. Elite Construction and Grading, Inc. maintains a Drug Free Workplace and Emphasizes Safety on all its job sites and adherence to all Safety Codes and Company policies on the job. OSHA Certification Cards, OSHA 30 Certification, CPR Certification are all beneficial. If successful applicants do not possess these Certifications, Elite will work to provide the training and opportunity for these to be obtained by Heavy Equipment Operators. Successful Applicant must provide their own Transportation to and from the job. Must have either a valid North Carolina Driver's License or the ability to provide their own transportation to and from the job. Special situations may be considered at the Company's discretion, but transportation to and from the job is ultimately the responsibility of the employee.
