The Role:

We're seeking a talented Proposal Specialist to drive business development deliverables for ElevateBio BaseCamp. The Proposal Specialist will be responsible for developing proposals and Statements of Work as well as maintaining the questionnaire database to support BaseCamp's ongoing activities with external partners. A strong candidate for this role will have a background in process development, manufacturing, quality, or a CMC environment.

Here's What You'll Do:

• Lead authoring proposals and Statements of Work (SOW) under supervision within business development team
• Evaluate new project requests and prioritize response in collaboration with commercial development and operation teams
• Respond to client request for information (RFI) including questionnaires
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to obtain information from key stakeholders and subject matter experts to generate tailored custom proposals with relevant technical, budget and timeline information. Proposals will be designed to meet client specific program needs and align with BaseCamp business growth objectives
• Partner with project management and operation team to generate Statement of Work or other contract documents as needed to support ongoing project needs
• Support the maintenance of our contract database for signed contracts and questionnaires. Additionally, support contract generation process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Develop and maintain standard proposal and SOW templates with a regular cadence for improvements
• Support sales and other relevant commercial activities as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in a scientific discipline or related field
• Minimum of 2 years relevant proposal/project management experience, highly preferred to be with biotech/pharma or contract manufacturing environment, especially within cell and gene therapy space
• Good technical understanding of biologics or cell & gene therapy CMC workflow
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, etc.)
• Familiar with relevant business management software systems such as HubSpot preferred, but not required
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Highly motivated with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines
