The Role:
ElevateBio is seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking problem solver with meticulous attention to detail to join our esteemed RNA team. This individual will leverage their expertise in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field to make significant contributions to the advancement of circRNA-based approaches that enhance cell and gene therapies. Previous experience in RNA process development is advantageous.
Here's What You'll Do:

• Engage in full-time work from April to December 2024, totaling 40 hours per week.
• Conduct routine in vitro transcription reactions and subsequent downstream purification steps as necessary.
• Perform quality control assessments using cutting-edge technologies on RNA and DNA samples.
• Execute various molecular biology assays, including plasmid digests and gel electrophoresis.
• Adhere to protocols, manage data effectively, and maintain databases within our electronic notebook system (Benchling).
• Craft impactful PowerPoint presentations to communicate research findings to cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science preferred, with 2-3 years of industry experience; title commensurate with experience.
• Prior experience working with in vitro transcribed RNA is advantageous.
• Proficiency in a range of molecular biology techniques, such as PCR, nucleic acid purification, capillary electrophoresis, or sequencing, is required.
• Familiarity with Geneious or Benchling software is a plus.
• Experience with liquid chromatography (HPLC or FPLC) for nucleic acid purification is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask and effectively coordinate work across multiple simultaneous projects.
• Strong aptitude for collaboration, both within and across teams.
