Elevate Fitness is Hiring a Swim Lesson Instructor (WSI or ASCA) Near Dewitt, NY

The following provides a detailed description for the position of Water Swim Instructor. (WSI) Actual duties performed may vary.
The Lead Swim Instructor ensures the safety of patrons of the aquatic department and manages overall operations of the pool.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
 
 Red Cross (preferred) Certification in swim instruction (or comparable certification)
 Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
 Skill in the application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques.
 Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures.
 Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
 Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
 
 
 High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

 Position duties require daily standing, walking, sitting, lifting, bending, squatting, reaching and swimming.
