Position Overview: We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial-minded Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, the Controller will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of our firm The Controller will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of our firm, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial matters. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller will be responsible for maintaining financial controls, producing accurate financial reports, and providing strategic financial guidance to support our investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities for Controller:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP standards.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage financial budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to support strategic decision-making and investment planning.
• Financial Control: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance metrics to assess the financial health of portfolio companies and identify areas for improvement.
• Audit Management: Manage the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and overseeing the preparation of audit schedules and financial statements.
• Investor Reporting: Prepare investor reports, presentations, and communication materials to provide transparency and updates on investment performance.
• Cash Management: Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation to optimize financial resources and support investment activities.
• Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the firm's financial interests.

Qualifications for Controller:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Prior experience in private equity, investment management, or financial services industry strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting techniques.
