Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move, load, and unload materials
- Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse using forklifts or other appropriate equipment
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Conduct inventory checks and maintain accurate records of materials handled
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including OSHA regulations
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role
- Proficient in operating various types of forklifts, such as reach trucks and clamp trucks
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repairs is a plus
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to forklift operation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
