Job Description

Luxury salon currently looking for a front desk receptionist. This person is the first and last point of contact for clients and must have the ability to create a lasting impression of warmth, professionalism, and efficiency. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their appearance and maintains a upscale fashion appearance when it comes to hair and makeup. This position requires flexibility to work salon hours which may include some evenings and Saturdays. It also requires the ability to coordinate the day-to-day activities and events that happen throughout the salon. If you enjoy all aspects of beauty this is a fun and rewarding job.

ACTIVITIES:

• Willing to learn and offer different services and products offered by the salon
• Ability to take a hands-on approach of ensuring salon cleanliness and standards
• Respond to guests needs and ability to build rapport with guests
• Accountability for front desk operations including appointment scheduling, confirmations, retail sales, cash handling, salon up-keep and general day-to-day operations.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate and some college or beauty school
Marketing experience, Social Media experience
Microsoft Office & Excel experience
