The Opportunity:

The Accounting Clerk reports directly to the Corporate Controller and performs a variety of accounting duties and interacts with most departments across the organization. This position is responsible for revenue, accounts receivable, accounts payable and other financial, administrative, and clerical activities including preparation, review and maintenance of records in the Accounting department. This is a full time hybrid opportunity based in New Prague, MN.

Job Outcomes You Must Get:

• Perform the day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions including entering daily invoices and matching packing slips and purchase orders with invoices, regularly partnering directly with the manufacturing team
• Perform the day-to-day processing of revenue transactions including creating and sending invoices and recording accounts receivable
• Manage weekly check run and ACH Payments
• Review/process AR banking transactions including credit cards, remote check deposit, and incoming ACH deposits
• Assist with month-end close including reconciliations of accounts and monthly journal entries
• Review and process monthly expense reports
• Special project as requested
• Assist with auditor requests during year-end audits and quarter-end reviews
• All other duties as assigned
• Knowledge of QAD and/or Concur is a plus

Job Outcomes Requirements:

• Associates degree in accounting or equivalent accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience
• General understanding of accounting principles
• Microsoft Office applications, proficient knowledge of Excel
• Customer and supplier relations (internal and external)
• Math aptitude
• Detail oriented and accountable with the ability to take ownership of tasks
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Works well with other team members
• Able to work from the New Prague, MN office 2-3 days per week
