Electrical Contractor is Hiring a Human Resource Generalist Near Laurel, MD

We are seeking a Human Resource Generalistto join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain materials for orientation.
  • On-board and train new employees
  • Implement company culture, values and policies
  • Provide management with requested reports and documents
  • Coordinate with Superintendents for referrals and termination slips
  • Maintain I9's and complete all E-Verifications
  • Maintain New Hire Registry Information
  • Enter employee optional benefits
  • Enter new hire information into VISTA
  • Accurately maintain employee files
  • Cover receptionist area for lunch
  • Assist with Company events

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Human Resources, or other related fields
  • Knowledge of labor and employment laws
  • Ability to build rapport with all employees
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
