Job Summary:

Join our team as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Atlantic Electric, LLC, a renowned leader in the electrical construction and engineering industry with over 50 years of operational excellence. In this role, you will play a critical part on our Airfield lighting and installation project performed on Federal and Municipal facilities.

This job posting is specific to our project located on Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia Beach, VA.

Duties:

• Operate heavy equipment to include large Excavators (ie. CAT 385s), Track Hoes, Skid Steers, and Backhoes.
• Perform tasks involving the installation of Ductbank systems and demonstrate proficiency in safe and efficient equipment operation in various work environments.
• Dig trenches using both mechanical tools and hand tools as necessary to meet project requirements.
• Maintain adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a Federal background check (Required)
• Valid driver’s license (Required)
• Minimum of 5 years of operating experience with large Excavators, Track Hoes, Skid Steers, or Backhoes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Ductbank installation and the ability to handle the physical demands of the job.
• Proven record of safe and proficient operation of heavy equipment across a variety of work environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting and follow project specifications and safety regulations.
• Must participate in pre-employment, post-accident, and random drug screenings as required by company policy.
