Job Description
ASSISTANT MANAGER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Must be available to work 2-9PM Shifts & Some Weekends
- Manages and develops employees that work as a team and are loyal to the Tropical Smoothie Cafe© brand standards.
- Maintains and exceeds customer expectations to build brand loyalty.
- Presents a consistent, professional image of the cafe and crew by maintaining all sanitation and appearance standards.
- Communicates and stays updated on all marketing and promotional materials. Executes marketing and sales programs, following appropriate guidelines.
- Builds café sales by cultivating relationships in the business community and initiating local store marketing campaigns
- Assists Manager with scheduling
- Assists Manager with inventory management
- Monitors and adjust labor as needed

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience required.
- Experience training and developing employees.
- Experience in growing sales and providing excellent customer service.
- Must have a proven track record of managing labor.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word & Excel
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Servsafe Certification preferred.
