Seeking front of house staff with Serving and Bartending experience (preferably in an elevated setting) for El Molino del Sureste - an upscale Regional Mexican Restaurant from critically-acclaimed Chef Alex Henry and the team at Sureste Mexican.

Recently named one of the Best New Restaurants of 2023 by St. Louis Magazine, Feast Magazine and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and recipient of a coveted "Essential" Rating (Highest Rating Given) by St. Louis Post-Dispatch's lead food critic.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide excellent customer service
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Maintain a clean and stocked bar area
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth operation

Experience:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in the food service industry is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math and retail math for cash handling purposes
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with different types of alcoholic beverages and their preparation methods
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team

Additional:

-Ability to read, write and speak Spanish is a plus.

-Knowledge of the traditional cuisine, spirits and culture of Mexico is a plus.
