El Dorado Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team! We are a full-service, multi-doctor, AAHA-accredited hospital that proudly serves small animals in Fountain Hills.

This is a full-time, Monday-Saturday role comprised of 4-10s.

Requirements:

• 3 years of current, hands-on veterinary experience
• Must love cats and dogs (we’re a certified Cat Friendly Practice)
• Takes pride in being punctual, dependable, and reliable
• Self-starters who take initiative and pay close attention to detail
• Compassionate team players who have excellent communication skills
• Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
• Excellent computer/technology skills (we’re paperless-IDEXX Neo)
• Passion for veterinary medicine

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Anesthetic induction
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Surgical preparation and assistance
• Digital radiology
• Patient handling and restraint
• Blood draws
• IV catheter placement
• Pharmacy duties
• Lab work
• Drug calculations
• Outpatient procedures
• Microscopic evaluation
• Administer vaccines, injections, and medications
• Client communication and education
