Full or part time positions available for experienced Veterinary paraprofessionals. Qualified individuals must have at least one year of experience as a technician working in a Veterinary clinic or hospital. Applicants must be proficient at restraint of dogs and cats, positioning for radiographs, able to draw blood from multiple sites, able to place intravenous catheters and use fluid pumps. Familiarity with commonly used medications, industry specific surgical packing and sterilization techniques, processing of laboratory specimens, and disinfection protocols is required. Technicians with significant experience monitoring anesthesia or cross trained to reception can expect additional compensation.

Our practice is an established small animal clinic. We provide well care as well as diagnostics , dentistry, and routine soft tissue surgery. About 60% of our patients are dogs and 30% cats. Full time employees usually work four ten hour days with rotating Saturdays. There is some flexibility to this schedule.

Additional compensation can be expected for cross trained applicants and those with experience monitoring anesthesia.
