As an Accountant you will perform the following functions:

• Responsible for end of month reconciliations to include bank, balance sheet and/or fixed assets

• Maintain prepaid and amortizations

• Enter all necessary journal entries, to include but no limited to payroll expenses and accruals

• Post all entries in company’s accounting system as needed

• Process end of year 1099S

• Responsible for closing out end of year accounting items

• Assist with audits, as needed

• Interface with accounting software applications (Deltek & Concur) and payroll applications (ADP)

• Assist with A/P, A/R, as needed

As an Account, you must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• Three years of related experience

• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and government regulations

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and

customers

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where

only limited standardization exists

• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportion to practical situations

• Computer Skills: Accounting software, payroll systems, MS Office, proficient in spreadsheet

development
