Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload goods using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Communicate with dispatch or supervisor regarding any issues or delays
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is required
- Familiarity with local roads and routes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
