Clinical Therapist Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts a psychosocial assessment and develops an initial treatment plan.
Develops and implements treatment plans for patients based on assessment and coordinates any additional services needed, revising as necessary.
Conduct individual, group or family sessions as appropriate for the treatment plan of the patient.
Applies psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions in the delivery of services to individuals and families for the purpose of treating such diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders.
Utilize clinically approved modalities, including but not limited to the use of Dialectical
Clinical Therapist Requirements and Qualifications:
Experience in working with adults and/or children who have a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges.
Minimum of a master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field
Meet all necessary state licensure requirements. Temporary licensure (TLLP cannot be considered for Outpatient.
2 years of clinical experience, ideally working directly with clients.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to actively listen.
Solid relationship-building capabilities
A positive and compassionate attitude
Keen attention to detail
Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize needs.
Willingness to stay updated on new treatments, protocols, and licensure requirements within the field.
Passion for advancing the therapy field.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
