Clinical Therapist Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducts a psychosocial assessment and develops an initial treatment plan. 
• Develops and implements treatment plans for patients based on assessment and coordinates any additional services needed, revising as necessary.
• Conduct individual, group or family sessions as appropriate for the treatment plan of the patient.
• Applies psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions in the delivery of services to individuals and families for the purpose of treating such diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders.
• Utilize clinically approved modalities, including but not limited to the use of Dialectical

Clinical Therapist Requirements and Qualifications:

• Experience in working with adults and/or children who have a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Minimum of a master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field
• Meet all necessary state licensure requirements. Temporary licensure (TLLP cannot be considered for Outpatient. 
• 2 years of clinical experience, ideally working directly with clients.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to actively listen.
• Solid relationship-building capabilities
• A positive and compassionate attitude
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize needs.
• Willingness to stay updated on new treatments, protocols, and licensure requirements within the field.
• Passion for advancing the therapy field.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
