Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining equipment by successfully completing preventative maintenance tasks and troubleshooting and making necessary repairs to equipment that has stopped functioning due to a mechanical failure.

Essential Functions

·Complete PM tasks as assigned via the E-maintenance system

·Troubleshoot equipment failures and repair as necessary

·Work with operations team to understand production and equipment needs

·Assist in the setup and operation of new equipment

·Assist in root cause analysis of quality and efficiency issues

·Work independently on continuous improvement tasks

Additional Responsibilities

·Other duties as assigned by the leadership team

Qualifications

·Two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for the upkeep and repair of equipment

·Electrical and mechanical experience

·Machining experience preferred

·Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

·Ability to complete projects from concept to completion

·Hands-on experience working with close tolerance requirements

·Strong verbal and written skills

·Able to work in a team environment and fulfilling objectives with minimum direct supervision
