Looking for a firm, fun loving, kindhearted DSP for an individual with developmental disabilities. This individual lives in their own home. The ideal candidate would be energetic, patient and caring. Also physically fit to assist individuals at times with daily living activities, ( i.e. bathroom). No smoking on the property due to health conditions.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist with light cooking and meal prep
- Light Housekeeping
- (Assist with) Laundry
This Individual enjoys:
- music
- the water
- being outside
- being out in the communicating
- going out to eat
Requirements:
- Must be willing to have drug screening and fingerprint background checks.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid car insurance.
- Must be in the home 5 days a week.
Job Type: Full-time/36 hours a week
Salary: $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Friday- 7 p.m. – 7 a.m.
- Saturday- 1-7 p.m. and/ or 7 p.m. -7 a.m.
- Sunday 1- 7 p.m.
- Night shift
- Overnight shift
Experience:
- Developmental disabilities: 1 year (Required)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- First Aid & CPR training
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
