Hours would be Part Time 5:45am-9:45am Mon, Wed, Fri.Transvaginal 2D ultrasound and 3D as needed for follicle count on ovaries, uterine evaluation, early pregnancy.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Performing the ultrasound and ensuring the transducer (probe) is capturing images correctly
  • Explaining the ultrasound procedure to patients to avoid confusion
  • Maintaining ultrasound equipment and sterilizing the room in which the procedure takes place
  • Evaluating the images for quality, and interpreting what the image captured
  • Presenting images and preliminary findings to physicians and the healthcare team
  • Maintaining patient records and adding medical notes related to the ultrasound procedure
  • Review all prior images and reports before completing an exam
  • Utilize PACs, EMR and any other systems related to imaging
Additional Job Functions:
  • Complete all assigned compliance and education requirements
  • Training of other technologists as needed
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience performing Obstetrical scanning, a degree/certificate from an accredited ultrasound program, current RDMS in Ob/Gyn and/or Abdomen required and registries in OB, GYN, and NT. ARDMS in Breast and NT cert through FMF or NTQ desirable. CPR certified a plus. Knowledge of CPT coding, lab specific order sets and eclinical works are beneficial.
