• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and technical requirements, translating them into scalable and efficient software solutions.
• Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from conception and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Develop robust and maintainable codebases using modern programming languages, frameworks, and best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior software engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and optimal performance.
• Investigate and resolve software issues, applying analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth software operation.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to the overall project vision.
• Work with front-end engineers to provide data for user dashboards, big data visualization, and real time monitoring.
• Work collaboratively with scientists and engineers to understand tactical needs, develop prototype and production software to keep experiments moving forward
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, developing milestones and deadlines in coordination with the broader company goals 

• Bachelor's with 5 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or a PhD without experience.
• Proven track record of software engineering excellence, with significant experience in developing complex software applications.
• Proficiency with C , Python and SQL. Experience writing data processing scripts and SQL queries. 
• Experience scheduling, monitoring, and maintaining data pipelines.
• Experience using GPUs, ideally writing CUDA in C .
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented, flexible, able to adapt to rapidly evolving goals and challenges.

The expected salary range for this role is $145,000 to $167,000 depending on skills, competency, and the market demand for your expertise.
