Position Summary: Responsible for maintenance and revision of developed systems within the Developmental Disabilities (DD) program including quality assurance systems, training systems, and billing systems. Responsible for keeping these systems organized, efficient and for ensuring that staff is using these systems appropriately. The Program Coordinator also imparts supervises staff within the Day Habilitation program.
Essential Responsibilities include(but not limited to):
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in the Human Services related field, with one (1) year of related work experience, Associated degree, with (5) years of related work experience or a High School Diploma/GED, with 10 years of work experience with the developmentally disabled community. SCIP, AMAP, and CPR/First Aid certifications preferred and Familiarity with OPWDD regulations. Must have a valid New York State Drivers License.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:The ability to interact with individual and staff professionally and ethically, understand and implement service plans, and to complete all required documentation clearly, legibly in a timely manner.
