Purchasing Assistant is responsible for researching new vendors, tracking deliveries and updating order records (e.g. dates, invoices and discounts.) They are also keeping any time-sensitive work moving, assembling paperwork for processing purchase orders, and serve as back-up for the Purchasing Lead as needed
Brief Responsibilities
- *Review purchase orders for shipping information, attachments, etc. Distribute purchase orders to appropriate parties with the facility manager. *Receive/route phone calls; answer general inquiries about purchasing matters; take/route *Process vendor applications to include checking system, mailing applications, providing information on how to complete applications. *Receive, log, and time stamp bids; place in correct project group.
Qualifications
- *Minimum of 1 year experience in purchasing or any related field. *Audiovisual Industry knowledge is a plus but not required. *Graduate of any business-related courses (bachelor's degree). *Good oral and written communication skills.
Salary Range of $40,000 to $50,000/year
Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
