Summary

• This position is responsible for ensuring that the direction set forth by the Shipping Supervisor is followed through by the shipping associates. The lead will assist to oversee all shipping products, verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments at the EHOB Distribution Center.

• Assists shipping personnel and their daily activities.
• Ensures orders are accurately picked and labeled to order specification.
• Responsible for training shipping personnel.
• Documents training when completed.
• Assists floor supervisors and fills in as needed to back up the supervisors.
• Maintains warehouse safety and cleanliness.
• Monitors inventory on rollers and communicates with management.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with 1-2 years related experience or training
• Must be certified to operate a forklift.

• Language skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public group, and/or boards of directors.
• Mathematical skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
• Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of information.
• Computer skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
