EHOB, Inc is Hiring a Facilities Coordinator Near Indianapolis, IN

Summary

This position is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all EHOB, Inc. facilities. Additionally, the Facilities Coordinator will assess and consider daily the safety of our employees and the security of our assets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

· Respond to any building issues (climate control, odors, smoke, spills, damage, emergencies and repairs)

· Monitors contractor performance and works closely with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications

· Assists in preparing the annual maintenance budget

· Solicits bids and quotes from vendors

· Assists with vendor relations on all facility items

· Key partner with safety program helping to build presentations, roll out to employees, implement changes, etc.

· Monitors and replaces light bulbs in all locations, as needed

· Makes minor plumbing repairs, as necessary

· Coordinates and assists with departmental and employee moves

· Performs basic electrical work

· Hangs pictures and shelving, as needed

· Dismantles and installs furniture

· Sets up and tears down chairs, tables and equipment in meeting rooms, and function rooms.

· Clears snow from entrances and walkways. Salt as needed

· Checks fire/safety lights monthly

· Checks for OSHA violations weekly. Brings issues to Management.

· Cleans outside areas of building – keeps debris free by dumpsters, doors, etc.

· Follows all applicable safety rules and procedures

· Reports work accomplished orally or on written work order to Management

· Performs immediate cleaning duties necessary to maintain clean facility

· Performs other maintenance duties as assigned

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

· Associates degree in project management, certificate in trade school or equivalent

· Work experience related to project management, vendor management, facilities and/or maintenance.

· Must have a valid Indiana Drivers License and reliable vehicle

· Language skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public group, and/or boards of directors.

· Mathematical skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts.

· Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of information.

· Computer skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
