Job Description
The Taper is required to use tape to ensure veneers are secured together and will not split apartduring production.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform theessential functions.
Inspects the veneer sheets for specification conformance.Must be able to meet and maintain acceptable production levels.Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Completes the necessary production forms.Understands lockout-tagout safety procedure.Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribedsafety regulations.
Competencies Teamwork Orientation. Time Management. Performance Management Quality Control. Results Driven Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
