EGW Utility Solutions is Hiring a Warehouse Associate Near Carrollton, TX
- Pull orders from correct bins with correct quantity using the wireless warehouse system
- Operate forklift and picker in performance of order filling duties when required. Daily, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the equipment, Forklift & Picker Certification is required and will be provided
- Expedite Will Call orders for immediate pick up
- Differentiate between various types of paperwork, Including pick tickets, invoices, PO’s, etc.
- Foster great customer relationships by greeting Will Call customers immediately and process their orders quickly and efficiently
- Understand and comprehend how paperwork flows from pick ticket creation to Enlighten scanning
- Ability to place materials on a pallet neatly for shipping. An emphasis must be placed on minimizing damage of material during shipping
- Perform daily checks on warehouse equipment to minimize service costs
- Maintain a 98% order pulling accuracy
- Keep warehouse clean and organized always
- Receive incoming materials, check quantity and quality, enter in ERP system and stock shelves
- Learn and live up to the EGW Core Values and Mission Statement while helping to achieve company goals.
- Customer Service: Ability to build strong personal relationships within the accounts’ personnel based on trust, putting the clients’ need first and being the clients’ advocate within EGW.
- Exhibits Integrity: the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles- It is not always about the sale. It is always about the customer.
- Self-Starter – Creates ideas and follows through without prodding, balanced with judgment and knowing when and how to ask for assistance and counsel.
- Technical Capacity: The products involved can be mechanical and technical in nature and require that the Warehouse Associate fully understand their product/services and impact to the customer.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to become proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Reliable mode of transportation- ability to work the hours of operations for this role
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Two years experience working in a warehouse.
- Forklift Certification
