EG America is Hiring a Project Development Coordinator Near Westborough, MA

Position Summary:

Provide support and coordination for the capital development program from pre-construction activities through close-out for all varieties of projects initiated and managed by the Real Estate Group. Supports all levels of staff and external consultants & engineers/architects, and other vendors (see working relationships below).


Responsibilities:

1. Support for all entitlement activities, including Preferred Developer activities and Support for all pre-construction activities (including, but not limited to the following):

  • Update eBuilder project details information and upload pertinent documents
  • Collaborate with team in updating Master Project Report
  • Assist in preparation as needed for Phase 2-3 budget estimates
  • Scan plans as needed (redlines, etc.)
  • Assist in preparing applications (BOH and other permit apps including signs)
  • Utility coordination & easements; Coordination for utility rebates
  • Coordination with IT regarding Phone & Cable disconnects
  • Coordinate, prepare, and distribute Project Site Visit notices
  • Coordinate, prepare, and distribute Welcome Packets for new stores
  • Reports to management regarding tracked dates
  • Manage vendor insurance compliance (EBIX system)
  • Prepare all non-construction Bonds and Escrows
  • Prepare check requests based on information uploaded to Smartsheet, submit
  • Coordinate application signatures via information uploaded to Smartsheet
  • Track and coordinate all Bond and Escrow Requests, Releases/ Refunds
  • Prepare MSAs for Engineers and get necessary signatures and upload to systems
  • Document archive management (Filebound)


Working Relationships:

Internal: Interaction with the following departments: Planning, Construction, Administration, Real Estate, Environmental, Facilities, Resource Protection, Law, Finance, Marketing, IT, and Operations.

External: Communication and coordination with the following: Architects, Engineers, General Contractors, Subs, Vendors, Preferred Developer, Attorneys, State/Local Officials, and Utility companies.

Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or commensurate, preferred Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum Experience: 2 years

Preferred Experience: 5 years and experience with eBuilder or other project management platform

Licenses/Certifications: None

Soft Skills:

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; Adaptability; Familiarity with project management systems (eBuilder, Service Channel); Intermediate to Advanced skill level in Excel and Smartsheet, Intermediate skill level in Word, PowerPoint, and other MS Office products;


Other:

Scheduling - This position is a full-time hourly position and primarily works M-F, 8:30-5:00 most days, however, may at times need to work additional hours depending on business needs.

Hours & Conditions - Office Environment typically 8:30am-5:00pm M-F (currently hybrid 2 days in person, 3 remote, but may increase… able to accommodate 5 days in person if that is desirable for the candidate for focus/collaboration/etc.)
