Maintenance Technician Positions Available

Join the Express Employment team, where we have multiple openings for skilled Maintenance Technicians at various locations across Livingston County in Howell, Brighton, Milford, & Whitmore Lake. Maintenance Responsibilities:

- Perform industrial machine maintenance, ensuring efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to minimize downtime and maximize production output.

- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure reliability and performance.

- Complete installation and setup of new equipment as required.

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, identifying and addressing unsafe conditions promptly.

- Utilize CMMS systems to record work orders and preventive maintenance schedules.

- Collaborate with vendors for warranty repairs and coordinate outside services for extensive repairs or facility maintenance.

- Adhere to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, to ensure a secure work environment.

- Perform additional maintenance tasks as needed, including building, lighting, heating, and plumbing systems.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent.

- Experience with CNC machine repair preferred.

- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.

- Comfortable with 480V 3-phase electrical systems.

- Knowledge of PLC control systems is a plus.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Familiarity with preventive maintenance software and basic math skills.

Hours & Compensation:

- 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available, including Monday-Friday schedules with weekend overtime, requirements vary based on location.

- Pay rates range from $22.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on experience and location.

- Contract-to-hire & Direct Hire opportunities available.
