Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll and Financial Specialist to join our team. Position is responsible for providing support to Director of Finance, Human Resources and Administration. Main duties include Payroll, Employee Benefit Compliance, and general accounting functions.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
01 Perform payroll duties and reporting through ADP processing requirements and update necessary, time sensitive information within employee records and system maintenance.
02 Prepare pay period reports for withholding and employee benefit plan submissions
03 Research, track and resolve payroll and accounting problems
04 Record business transactions and key data into accounting systems.
05 Work with ADP website, accounting software, databases, calculators, and bank accounts
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
01 Maintain and verify employee data and files
02 Verify time card entries and approvals prior to payroll processing.
03 Complete payroll updates, including payroll corrections, retro pay, bonuses, garnishments, etc. to be processed on current payroll.
04 Process payroll batch, verify output and obtain supervisor review.
05 Prepare regular payroll reports and other reports as requested by supervisor
06 Prepare request to transfer funds to payroll account for each pay period and submit to supervisor
07 Reconcile payroll transaction and maintain contact with payroll vendor and resolve issues.
08 Perform accounting tasks and support supervisor acting as Organization’s liaison to third parties.
