ESI is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect, with a strong background in Red Hat to support work for our government customer.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with prioritization of Application workloads for onboarding and maintain a backlog of applications to containerize and move onto the OpenShift Container Platform.
• Responsible for mentoring application teams and assisting them in migrating to the customer Private cloud on the OpenShift Container Platform.
• Host workshops where they teach users how to upgrade/migrate using Red Hat components or tools.
• Aid applications with determining the best migration path: Retire, Retain, Rehost (‘lift and shift’) or Refactoring of their current code on the OpenShift Container Platform.
• Help applications with production support during scheduled production deployment “go-live”, container image updates and application maintenance weekends therefore the contractor must have experience in the development, support, and maintenance of Red Hat OpenShift Containers. 
• Utilize Red Hat best practices to maintain and support the applications development, test, and production environments.
• Document these best practices and lessons learned as a reference point to guide the customer in technology insertion of the OpenShift Container Platform. At the conclusion of the period of performance / engagement, the Contractor(s) will be responsible for knowledge transfer, training, best practice facilitation, and support transition to customer staff.

Qualifications

•  Experience in and/or provided any supplemental OpenShift training activities.
•  Must be a Red Hat Learning Subscription (RHLS) partner, an authorized reseller of Red Hat products and services and extend those services to customer personnel utilizing Red Hat Innovation labs.
• BA in Computer Science.
• 3-5 Years Experience in Solutions Architecture
• MBI Clearance Required
