Educare is Hiring a Math/Science Tutor Team Lead Near Arlington, IL

This is an in-person position located in Arlington Heights, IL.

Huntington Learning Center in Arlington Heights is currently seeking a math/science tutor to work with high school students in various math and science subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry, Physics, Calculus, etc.

With over 40 years of experience, Huntington is an accredited learning center offering a range of tutoring and test prep services. Teaching for Huntington is an excellent way to satisfy an interest in teaching, even if you have pursued a career outside of education or are currently in a classroom.

Math/Science Tutor Job Responsibilities:

Work 1 on 1 with student to help them complete their homework, study for tests/quizzes and raise their grade
Communicate student needs with full-time staff
Diligent record keeping of student progress
Create a positive, supportive and interactive environment for the students
Train incoming tutors

Math/Science Tutor Applicants must possess the following qualities:

Strong math/science skills
Professional and able to communicate clearly
Responsible and dependable
Enthusiastic and flexible
Ability to work with students in a 1 to 1 setting
