EDSI is Hiring a Project Accountant Near Dearborn, MI

Job Description:

Scope of Position

  • Responsible for billing, payment allocations, collections, period ending reports,
reconciliations, bookkeeping, and tax compliance
Essential Functions
  • Implement and coordinate use of Concur Invoice and Expense as applicable to increase
efficiency and compliance
  • Work with President, CEO, CFO and Controller to track and evaluate financial
performance
  • Act as intermediary between Operations and Fiscal staff for processing and reconciling
expenses and performance
  • Perform miscellaneous assignments requested by Controller or CFO
  • Maintain active involvement with accounting firm to ensure timely year-end statements
  • Develop financial forecasts
  • Complete bank reconciliations
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts between all entities, including EDSI
  • Calculate and remit Ascend sales tax monthly
  • Process Accounts Payable
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable (invoices and collections)
  • Update 13-week cash forecast for Living Unlimited and Ascend weekly
  • Process mileage reimbursements for Living Unlimited on a bi-weekly basis

Required Experience:


Education and Experience Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computer
systems preferred
