Are you goal driven? Then the Adult & Youth Career Advisor position is for you! We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to join our spirited team.

As an Adult & Youth Career Advisor, you will be responsible for providing case management and career counseling to customers and providing support and assistance in all areas related to gaining and/or retaining employment and career advancement.

Responsibilities

Successful Elements:

• Determine WIOA eligibility and accurately complete required documentation for enrollment
• Build professional one-on-one working relationships with customers to assist in eliminating challenges that are hindrances to obtaining and retaining employment
• Work alongside the Adult, Dislocated Worker and Youth population to design employment plans and assist with training goals.
• Provide referrals to appropriate community service or social service agencies when needed
• Maintain organized database of customers and keep detailed documentation of all contacts
• Provide consistent and comprehensive case management follow-up ensuring that contacts are made as required by specific contract and accommodating customer work schedules
• Other opportunities as available

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Career counseling experience required
• Ability to prioritize tasks and document visits and contacts
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation is required
