Italmatch USA Corporation is Hiring a Customer Service Representative-LATAM Near Smyrna, GA

Italmatch USA Corporation and its subsidiaries manufacture and sell specialty chemicals to its customers domestically and internationally. Italmatch USA is headquartered in Atlanta, GA.

Our parent company is an international chemical company with worldwide operations and sales headquartered in Genoa, Italy.

Description Provide comprehensive customer service to the South & North American customer base through effective order management, logistics handling operations & customer communication. Accurately record and process orders ensuring compliance with all the financial and legal obligations are fulfilled.

Must be proficient in writing and speaking Spanish.

Must be in the local Metropolitan Atlanta area.

What You Will Do in Your Role

  • Provide an efficient order management service to South/North America including order entry, confirmation, scheduling, and logistics to agreed deadlines, billing, and after-sales service.
  • Ensure compliance with all international legal, fiscal, and shipping regulations.
  • Work effectively with Production / Supply Planning to ensure product availability and inform customers of status in the event of any delays.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders/customs brokers and 3PLs.
  • Maintain close contact with customers and sales regarding product availability to inform and obtain information related to customers sales requirements.
  • Coordinate shipments directly from the plants in the USA and Europe; provide all required documentation to complete shipment.
  • Ensure efficient handling of all inquiries from customers, sales, and agents relating to orders, prices, invoices, duties, taxes.
  • Be accountable for correct pricing and billing to the end customer.
  • Ensure that all customer inquiries are effectively handled. Manage all returns and claims.
  • Complaints management Entry and monitor. Feedback to Customer Service Manager and Commercial Team.
  • Regional OTIF focus with scheduled feedback to the Customer Service Manager.
  • Work closely and effectively with relevant sales representatives, carrying out any requested actions and advising on all matters relating to their markets and customers.
  • Coordinate transportation, following customer-provided routing guides, for select customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Customer Service & Logistics Manager

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Highly motivated team player with a strong customer focus
  • Bilingual-English and Spanish
  • Sound knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Tools
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage stressful/demanding situations, always presenting a professional company image.
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • High productivity and attention to detail. Highly dependable with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Knowledge of shipping regulations and product hazards is an advantage.
  • Some technical/chemical experience is an advantage. This position is primarily office-based desk work with a computer/telephone.
