Job Details
As the Automotive Controller, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all financial and accounting operations within our multi-franchise automotive dealership.
2. Preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements and reports.
3. Ensuring all financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
4. Developing and implementing financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to drive business growth.
5. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
6. Managing relationships with external auditors and ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
7. Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
8. Identifying and managing business risks and insurance requirements.
9. Driving the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.
10. Collaborating with other department leaders to improve financial performance and operational decision-making processes.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive industry, preferably in a multi-franchise dealership.
3. Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial software.
4. Strong understanding of financial law and business legislation.
5. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
6. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovative solutions.
8. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
