Location: Stateline, NV, 89449 Job Description: The Cook II - Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to recipes and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to work well under pressure. Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist with the preparation of ingredients and mise en place
Ensure that all food items are cooked and served at the correct temperature
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are prepared and served in a timely manner
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
