Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Maintenance Support Specialist 3 (Master Equipment List support) opportunity for our customer in Los Alamos, NM to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Per diem: Available for those who qualify.

Summary:
Support and maintain the Master Equipment Listing (MEL) by monitoring, validating, and auditing work package completion. Maintains database and other programs as required for use in the development of performance matrix and other required administrative reports. Evaluates processes, and procedures for potential improvements. Develops and maintains maintenance policies, and procedures. Provide training support of the maintenance program to new team members.
Monitoring, validation work for correctness, maintaining databases, making necessary corrections, performing duties, and preparing presentations such as matrix of equipment, repairs, and to help establish equipment lifecycle. Work with P950 Maintenance procedures. Shares knowledge with other work control personnel. Has knowledge of equipment, reads blueprints, electrical diagrams, pumps.
Interpretation of engineering documents with equipment lifecycles
Computer literate – will use CMMS system regularly- updating record maintenance history, must be able to put together and lead “workshop meetings”- these are get together with engineering support specialists to discuss systems for replacement or change frequency
Must have a customer service attitude- Engineers are the customers must have communication skills to share bad news.
Additional Job Information:
Proficiency with Microsoft office, excel, word, PowerPoint.
Education:
Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.
Area Security Access:
The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance. An active DOE clearance is not initially required to perform assigned duties.
